What do I need to get started with Zwift?
Here's what I have...

Kreitler rollers
Quarq power meter
Garmin GSC-10 Ant+ Speed/Cadence sensor
Garmin Ant+ HR strap
Garmin 520 (and 310XT)
Garmin Ant+ dongle

From the little research I've done, I know I'll need to download Zwift to my PC and subscribe. As I understand it, the software is free and the subscription is $15/month, correct? It also appears that I'll likely need a USB extension cable.

Is there any other hardware that I'll need? Will the Garmin Ant+ dongle that came with my 310XT work?

Thanks.

Sounds like you're good to go, download the software and start your 1 week free trial and see how you get on. Only thing you might find you need is a USB extender cable to bring your dongle closer to your power meter, depending on how you're set up and how much background inference there is.

Underlined items are all you need, the rest is not needed (well, except for HR strap, if you want HR data:)
You'd only need speed/cadence sensor if you didnt have powermeter and chose to use Virtual Power on Zwift, but you dont need that. Garmin 520 or 310xt are totally optional, the important metrics like power, HR, speed, time are displayed in Zwift as well.

If you intend to keep your computer right in front of your bike, you wont need that. The issue here is that you need your ANT+ dongle to be close to sensors (powermeter and HR). Many people place dongle under the rear wheel when using speed/cadence sensor placed on rear wheel, but I think the distance between you computer and crank based powermeter will not be that far.

Yes, as long as its the USB2 Version, not the USB1, youll find the info right on the dongle here: https://support.trainerroad.com/...0-27_at_10.33.06.png

Thanks.

I actually have two Garmin Ant+ sticks. The first is the size of a thumbdrive and clearly says "USB1" like this...

The other is much smaller like this...

...and says "ANTUSB-m"

I know the first one (USB1) won't work, but I believe the second one (ANTUSB-m) will. Can anyone confirm?

Thanks.
