Anne Haug - 2018
Very impressed by Anne Haug’s 70.3 results this year. She seems like a great fit for that distance!

Not a strong enough swimmer for consistent ITU success, but strong enough to be in the mix.

Not the fastest rider, but competitive. Lost 3.5 minutes to Holly L and 6 to Daniela R at Bahrain. Lost 1.5 to Lucy C at Lanzarote. Still, won both races.

Obviously her run is incredible. Like Rinny-level good?

It’ll be interesting to see what 2018 holds for her.

Reckon she finished 2nd in Bahrain, but still, I agree she has the potential to be a Rinny-like runner. Her 1:17:27 run in Bahrain was only 10 seconds slower than Javier Gomez.

She's been a bit under the radar in North America because of where she raced last season, but I imagine that'll change in 2018. Definitely has world champion potential.

Oops - typing too fast! Holly would be surprised to hear that as well.

Maybe if the run were a few hundred meters longer I would have been correct!

I think this girl is on fire. I say she wins Frankfort and Oceanside this weekend. She will be the next greatest in Kona. You heard it here first.
