Not to beat a dead horse, but was Tavis Smiley (I don't know who he is) instrumental in the anti-sexual harrassment/metoo phenomenon?

I don't know that he was instrumental, as a Jacobin in the Revolution might have been. But he was of the (mildly) leftish "all women must be believed" camp and all that that implies. I was just making the point that, as in all such reigns of terror, it soon begins to matter little just who was on what side, as we're now beginning to see. Everyone ends up in the grinder.
