Harold Ford, former US Representative from Tennessee, was an up-and-comer in the House, at one time actually challenging Nancy Pelosi in 2002 for the House Democratic Leader (House Minority Leader) position. He styled himself a moderate Democrat who could work across the aisle, and all that other jazz.
Eventually, his beer hall putsch blew up. He tried to capture one of the Volunteer State's US Senate seats in the 2006 elections, falling to Bob Corker (who himself is retiring from the Senate in 2018) by less than three percentage points.
Ford then left Congress and became a regular commentator and "analyst" on the cable news nets, where he's a current analyst on MSNBC. He also took a well-paid position as managing director at Morgan-Stanley, no doubt due to his brilliance in the stock market.
No longer, it seems:

The incident took place several years ago when Ford and the woman were supposed to be meeting for professional reasons. Ford continued to contact her after the encounter until she wrote an email asking him to cease contact.
The email, which was reviewed by HuffPost, shows that the woman emailed Ford after he repeatedly asked her to drinks. She asked him not to contact her anymore, citing his inappropriate conduct the evening where he forcibly grabbed and harassed her. Ford replied to the email by apologizing and agreeing not to contact her.
