Other disc wheel options besides the usual Zipp, HED, Enve, and FLO?
Most discussions here seem to center around these four manufacturers when it comes to rear disc comparisons. How about some other options like Reynolds, RON, FastForward, Renn, Premier Tactical.....others? Maybe been discussed before but anyone have real world experience using these lower cost options and have opinions on their pros and cons.....preferably from a clincher standpoint?

And considering the supposed minuscule time savings a disc provides over a top quality deep dish rear......what differences in time savings between a low cost option like these and a "premium brand" to expect, if any?

If you bump around the forum there has been plenty of discussion of late of this very topic, even a review of Dan's new PT disk. Also there is a great search button to the right. Plenty of great info already discussed.

From my perspective, Renn is a solid bet.

I've ridden two disc wheels in my life: my "Unidisc" wheel cover from the early 90's (which was pretty awesome, to be honest. Wait, awesome-looking. I meant awesome-looking. The neon green matched my bike!) and my Renn 575.

I find the 575 is terrific value. I'm 6'4 and when I stand up on the pedals I apply a fair bit of torque to it. I haven't found them to be flexy or insufficient in any way. I bought mine second hand, and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone. Incredible value.

But I haven't ridden any of your high-falutin discs so I can't compare it to much else unfortunately.

The cover is faster than a flat disc like the Renn since the cover gives a lenticular profile.

The new Aerocoach looks interesting and is reasonably price. Disley is the aero guru behind the NoPinz trip suits and silly socks.

Do we have a list of road tubeless discs, especially with wide rims? Seems like there still is a lot older design narrow rim tubular stuff still kicking around.

Have not searched around, but I know that the newer FLO Discs are Tubeless Ready.

+1, and not just because I'm in the promo video. :D

It's fast. On a completely unrelated note I have a Stinger for sale of anyone wants it.
