Is there any way to compare power readings between 2 separate bikes. To be specific I have a tri bike & road bike both with crank based Power2Max pm's. The newer one apparently can relay torque readings but the old one cannot. Does anyone know of any other way I might be able to compare the data between them? I am not looking for dead on accuracy but it would be nice to know my road or tri bike reads generally 15-20 watts higher/lower at a given effort etc.

Pretty much impossible, because you would have to guarantee you rode the 2 bikes exactly the same (RPM/cadence/gearing) on the exact same course, then maybe.

Borrow a PowerTap rear wheel and compare the two P2M with PowerTap reading instead.
Or a wheel off smart trainer. Won't tell you which is correct, just the difference between the 2.
