I went to one of the first Lions games in the Silverdome as a kid.
I can remember barely being able to get into the stadium because of the air system keeping the dome afloat.
Wow, I am getting old.

Still looks like it’s barely imploded. It looks like it’s in the middle of no where, an Air Force demonstration seems more fun, than this. Potentially faster too.

The goal was only to bring down the top ring, the steel structure, not all the concrete. No hurry to clear the site (in fact, the city of Pontiac sued the owner of the property to force them to demolish it - ie, follow the original purchase contract), so they'll break the rest up bit by bit.
