I had a somewhat similar episode some years ago and turned out to be 'allergy induced asthma'. Never had asthma nor this issue until I went for a run in a new town in the springtime and there you have it. Could hardly breathe, high heart rate, etc.

Please let us know when they've completely ruled out anything serious so we can start making fun of you. Even LRers have standards. ; )

Troponin and EKG negative?

Yes.

And now my stress test is negative too.

I have no idea what’s wrong, but I wanna go home.

Well wait until they figure it out. Feel better. Enjoy the Jello!

You can start now. I have no idea what this is going to cost me, but they found nothing on the stress test, ekg, blood work.

I was hoping to go home tonight, but it’s not looking good. :-(

Hope you fell better soon...

No sponge bath, I actually got discharged last night. A shower was heavenly.

Now I’m home with no answers. :(

Hey - we were ER buddies! I have Strep throat with an abscess. It's apparently a special level of Strep hell. Hopefully you get sorted soon and feel better!! Take care!

Do you still have the symptoms or did it get better?

What blood work did they run?

No change, but I did have a negative stress test. They ran the normal battery of labs, chemistry, tropinins, hematology. Nothing.

I’m going to follow up with an EMT. I think it’s my throat.

I'd like to think that would be a last resort type option ;)

ENT is what you're looking for. EMTs are who show up when shit's hit the fan.
