He sounds like a bit of an out of the mainstream nut job anyways which is characteristic of most of Trump's appointees. Having said that, I don't understand why anybody would want to go into politics. You'll be scrutinized in every way possible. Your life is then not your own and you can get called everything in the book as a public figure. But I guess some people like the power, or at least the perception of it.
