Damn Donald:
"Less than two months after Republicans' latest effort to repeal the Affordable Care Act imploded, a purple state just made a decidedly blue-state move to essentially expand Obamacare.

On Tuesday, Maine became the first state to expand Medicaid with a ballot initiative. And it passed overwhelmingly: Maine voters agreed to grant health care to an estimated 70,000 low-income residents by a nearly 20-percentage point margin by the time the measure was called by election watchers. In other words, a sizable number of voters in Maine just voted to do the exact opposite of what the state's Republican governor and Republicans in Washington have been trying to do."

Maybe The Donald will say it's cause and effect of the opined epidemic happening there or the large number of bused in voters?

This is perhaps the biggest vote last night. For all of the effective ideological branding, wedge issues and electoral advantages, the GOP is either completely adrift or in the minority on a host of actual policies.

The 20-point victory also cements Collins' vote against various ACA-repeal efforts, and is a shot across the bow to several other senators in purple states.

From what I've read, as is fairly typical in these sorts of votes, with the poor rural parts of the states voting against it and the more affluent urban parts for it.
