What I am looking for is a program that sort of combines old computrainer RM1 where you have two riders on their own trainers hooked up to one computer showing on one screen only following a real world road course. If the one rider is behind the other he sees the back of the other rider-if one rider gets far enough ahead or behind the screen goes split and shows each rider's current road and if behind you might see the other rider way off in distance. Rouvy sort of tries to do this-real courses are great but the two riders bit is very weak-not even a dot icon on road screen and really only the key rider sees what he is actually riding. Zwift again sort of does this but requires two computers then finding your ride buddy and then trying to keep track of him among so many riders and not real world courses.
The idea of course is to help put in those long rides just like I do in the nicer weather. Just riding along talking to a buddy, stopping at coffee shop for social break( ok the fridge in the winter) and then finishing out the 3-4 hrs . Indoors even with the best videos( Cadence, Tacx TTS4, Rouvy, FulGaz,Zwift ) 4 hrs is a long lonely ride. Sure helps to have somebody physically there suffering along with you to talk to and commiserate with and bitch about the up coming climb. Only needs to be for two riders, on different trainers(maybe i.e. Tacx and a Wahoo) on same computer (yes feeding to big screen but that part is easy) using some of great courses that have been filmed in HD. Ideally both riders have all data shown in a couple little boxes up on screen and a profile along the bottom showing progress and relative position with big real world scenery dominating the screen as we soar ( ok crawl) through the Alps.

Anybody know of anything out there or in the works???
