Contractually you are owed nothing and a refund is almost certainly out of the question. However, where races have been cancelled completely (IM Tahoe for fire) or postponed by a couple of weeks (IMMD) WTC has been pretty good about letting folks transfer to other available races and/or offering a discount to the following year. But you aren't going to know what they will do until a race is actually cancelled.

Thanks. I wouldn't want a refund but would like to transfer to another race that is a week or two out since I spent so much time training.

As Huff said you won't get a refund but for all the grief WTC gets they generally try to do the right thing in this scenario and will let you transfer. Don't freak out if you don't hear anything immediately but give it a few days.
