Wow, great interview. Love his attitude. Starting to understand all the Lionel fan-boys on here.

Two observations:
(1) "got dropped on the descent -- I didn't want to die" -- maybe not enough real riding outdoors?
(2) "I bridged the gap and then I went to the front when I caught them" -- between this and leading the 2nd swim pack I feel like he's still being too impatient. I feel like he should have let someone else lead the swim pack, and then he should have just the other two lead the bike, then lay it all down on the run instead.
