For some reason I now have an urge to buy a pomegranate....

I had a 7th grade English Teacher that did something similar, albeit way less intense, with watermelon gum. It apparently made her nauseous if she could smell it..

In ancient times, pomegranates symbolized breasts and fertility. Maybe it's a euphemism.
