Yep, I need a new Road helmet, not for racing. What's everyone's favorite?? I would say I want a good looking, safe, ventilated, and I guess areo if possible. I have an evade, but it has a point on the front that blocks my view on the tri bike, it drives me crazy. Thank in advance.

I just had a Smith Overtake that saved my life when I was hit by a car. While a great helmet I replaced it with a POC Octal since they have a good reputation for safety too. The fit on both were great for my head.

Bontrager Ballista, couldn't be happier! Aero, but still very good ventilation.

I got a ballista this season, it's comfortable, but I find that there is a point in the front that'll be in your field of vision while in the aero position.

I was thinking it looked like that. Thanks for the warning.

Giro Foray, easy fit comfortable and not as bulky as most non-aero helmets

The Rudy Project Boost 01 is very nice with the upgraded shield.

I think I just hate the look of Heather Jackson's helmet sooo much it makes me not like rudy. haha. that one looks good though.
I bought a Bolle 'The One' as I like the idea of a helmet being versatile.
It has removable covers over the vents, for a more aero (but, more hot) helmet.
I also liked that it had a light built into the back, which was a plus.
However, the light sucks. It eats CR3032's like candy. To the point that i stopped replacing them.
It also has a visor, for mountain biking.
Overall, I was pretty happy with that purchase, and I think they're around $100 now(i paid more).
The new Endura Aeroswitch looks promising, and of a similar mindset (versatile), although it seems more road/Tri versatile than all disciplines.
I think I read that there's a light built into it as well.
