I don't understand why people get so bent out of shape when they encounter cyclists. I'll be riding 24 mph in a 30 mph zone and people act like I'm traveling at a snails pace.

Common courtesy is not so common anymore.

I really do not understand why some drivers hate bikes to so much. It seems like much of the time it's not about slowing them down, its just animosity pure and simple. Drivers on the main street by my university like to drift into the bike lane when they see a cyclist and run them off the road. I pretty much anticipate being cut off any time I go around a roundabout. I've been cussed out for riding on roads at the same speed as the car in front of me.
