Nutrition box for BMC TM02
I've got a 2017 TM02 and am after advice for a nutrition box.I want a hard shell one that bolts onto to the top tube bosses. On the TM02 they sit further back than a lot of other bikes and it seems a few nutrition boxes won't fit it. I've bought a Specialized Remora box (see below) , but I'll have to return it, it's too wide. Any ideas? Best thing I can think is having a tool storage bottle sitting behind the seat in a cage with a hole in the top, then I can reach around and grab gels. I don't want to tape them to the top tube.

Although not hard-sided like you are looking for, we actually designed a bag with BMC. It currently comes with the TM01 models and frameset, but I believe you can go through your local BMC dealer and order it as a spare part for the TM02.

It is soft sided, but has a rigid thick insert inside to keep it stiff.

I use the dark speed works speed pack. Works pretty good but you are right - the bosses are a little too far back.

Thanks Candice, I'd prefer a hard shell one. Anything in the pipeline?

I keep asking and letting them know of the requests.

There are quite a few versions out there on the market and we don't want to be a me-too so we are taking our time and studying if we can take that concept to another level.

Hi Candice my dealer in Australia doesn't sell this. Do you guys sell it?

Could you try one of the new TorHans or Profile Design bento boxes?

I had the Remora on my bike (not a BMC) which I found to be too wide for the top tube, the PD one was a much nice fit. Perhaps you could mount it back to front and pushed back towards the seat post?

Unfortunately we sent everything over to BMC.

The BMC folks mentioned that all BMC retailers should be able to order the bags as spare parts because it is listed on the spare part item list.

Is your dealer a BMC stockist?

What about the bontrager one for the speed concept. Not huge, but hard sided and should be pretty aero even mounted that far back...

I was also looking for this and figured I would share some info for those looking for answers regarding fuel storage.

I just got myself a 2020 Timemachine 02 and at the same time I asked my dealer about the Xlab bag that comes with the TM01. It’s not listed in the standard spare parts catalog but after a call to the distributor they was able to get me one.

So the good news are that the bag is available to order separately and your BMC dealer should be able to get it for you.

I have this on my TM01, connected via velcro which allows for easy on/off for different distances. It is nice to have the box next to the stem so you don't end up peeing/dripping on your food.

Oh thanks for confirming!

The BMC folks I worked with said it was on the spare parts, but good to know what you found out and that the distributor can still get them!
