I haven't specifically done the Rockhopper, but I did run the PBR Off Road Tri a few times which would probably be a similar course. I also lived about 1/2 mile from Papago park so it was my trail running and riding grounds for a few years.

Trail dirt will go from slick & loose in the turns to straight up sand...so you just need to be a somewhat aware of that when cornering at speed. Hills aren't anything of a real significance, they can be steep but they'll be short.

You have any specific concerns?

1/2mtb, 1/2 gravel path on bike. Same for run last time I did it. Pretty easy course if you have any MTB skills (I don’t)
