About $3000 is a pretty good deal for a tri bike. $4-5K is a sweet bike.

Cessna 150 (used) is $25K. Or for that money you can buy... about two bicycles? Makes no sense.

I think anything under MSRP for such a hot bike that they are selling well is a good deal. Ignore Dilbert, his response was uninformed. The P5X is an amazing bike, I just can't afford it.

Why buy something and THEN ask if you got a good deal?

The point is, ladies and gentleman, that speed, for lack of a better word, is good. Speed is right, Speed works. Speed clarifies, cuts through, and captures the essence of the evolutionary spirit.

We are customer so I think we need to share information for saving our money, or when you buy some thing you want to buy the most expensive as it can be?? By the way this price I pay full cash not pay by installments

No way this bike is 'selling well'. The only two I've seen in Denver/Boulder sat there all year collecting dust. Last time I was in one of those shops they had it marked down from $15k to $10k. Don't get me wrong, I would love to have a P5X, but wouldn't pay a dime over $7k for it.

Chances are, a dealer with this bike in stock is going to leap at the chance to get rid of it and get some of their money back.

A deal is in the eye of the beholder. You can buy a custom project 1 Speed Concept with Ultegra Di2, Bontrager Aeolus 9 wheels, custom paint and customer spec. crank length and cockpit for $8300. Or, you can get a leftover 2017 for $3600, add wheels for 2k, and SRAM Etap for $1700.

The Speed Concept is still one of the fastest bikes out there. If you look hard, you could probably find a new 2015 or 2016 for less than 3K.

Well Chris, I have seen a P5X in every HIM or IM race I have done this year. Several in a few of them. For a brand new bike that has been on the market for less than a year, that is pretty good. Much better than many of the other bikes launched in the past year.

As described by the LBS that sells it.

"IT'S A PILE OF JUNK AND I WOULDN'T RIDE IT...TRY THE P3...YOU'LL BE MUCH HAPPIER."

Largest retailer in Philly said that.

I bought a Giant Trinity Advanced Pro for $2200 instead.
