Couldn't find any mention of this here via the search...
Anyone seen this new aero helmet yet from Giro? Or a release date? Looks nice, similar to the Rudy Boost, but maybe more comfy for those of us that find Rudy helmets to be an odd fit...
Yes I've seen it and I'm a big fan of road helmets with integrated shields... personal preference. Currently riding with a Bell Star Pro Shield after I crashed with my Air Attack Shield... I'm going to guess and say it is released sometime this fall.
I tell you though I'm not in love with a $275 price tag on a road helmet.
Agree, the pricing is rather steep!
Just read a review on the helmet, and they were saying that they will likely start shipping in December... The helmet looks pretty slick, price looks a bit steep though... It is worth noting that it is a MIPS model, which generally increases the price (but unlike earlier MIPS helmets, it's not a retrofit, it was designed from that perspective)...
