I didn't finish the race yesterday as I quit after 10 km on the run :(
It was a non wetsuit swim and the run was under 95 of.
However I found this race to be outstanding for many reasons =
I love race when t1 and t 2 are together and within walking distance for accomodations which is the case
The city of Vichy which is a city known for thermal bath is quaint and very nice and all stores are welcoming the Im athletes
The swim is two loop in Allier river with rolling start which is an amazing thing since it provide stress free swim.
The bike has two loops in the country side and relatively flat
The run is 4 loops won both side on the river and is extremely spectator friendly.
On top of this the volonteers were awesome.
I highly recommend this race which you can combine with few days of vacation!
The city /accomodations are much cheaper than Nice.
