I was playing that tune on the tuba, and following the crowd of slow runners during a half marathon..........

Who would think nazi's are more tolerant than slow half marathoners!

And people forget that just because 'Antifa' is punching Nazis, it doesn't necessarily make them the good guys. More like Al-Qaeda and ISIS fighting with each other, if you ask me. ;-)

I find little moral equivalence. Antifa has a very narrow purpose. They don't run for office. They don't want to hold land. They don't take position on any political issue (except one). They don't target by race, religion, or political ideology (except one). They oppose Nazis. Some of them interfere with Nazi speech, and beat them up, which are crimes.

Nazis, Al-Qaeda, and ISIS have much broader purpose.

Any by death count, I can't find that modern antifa has killed anyone. At least that I can find. That puts them significantly behind Nazis, KKK, Al-Qaeda, and ISIS.

I find this defense of a group of lawless anarchists and anti-capitalists, who are also proudly communist, fascinating. Antifa are the folks who rioted at the WTO meetings in the 1990s and they've been merrily breaking stuff and rioting -- typically against capitalism and anything related to law enforcement -- ever since then.

Of course the communists -- from which 'Antifa' can trace its genesis -- were virulently anti-fascist back in the day (the alliance between Hitler and Mussolini -- socialists both -- probably being one of the prime motivators of their rise in the WWII and post-War eras). It's no wonder, then, that today's iteration of 'Antifa' would battle their historical nemesis, the Nazis.

But rooting for Antifa against today's Nazis, or neo-Nazis or white supremacists or whatever those goons are calling themselves these days, to me, is kind of like rooting for Stalin to defeat Hitler. Both were mass murderers on a scale unimaginable before their clash occurred, and if today's 'Antifa' hasn't yet murdered anyone during the course of brawling and rioting with their enemies, it's only been because of luck, nothing more.

I have provided zero defense. I am defining what they are, and aren't. What they aren't is Al Qaeda. But I don't like them. I've posted how I was annoyed at them at a vigil I went to. They commit crimes. I don't like that.



I think you're confusing antifa with general-purpose anarchists. Maybe they're brothers of a sort. Certainly dress the same, sometimes. Don't think they're the same.



The tactics of the KKK, Nazi, Al Qaeda, and ISIS don't leave anything to luck. No luck at all.
