Changing the light direction / orientation on the Garmin Varia UT800

I just bought the new Varia UT800, however it doesn't seem like I can change the direction of the light, when mounted on my aero bar I cannot orientate it forward. Am I missing something? Is it only designed to work with a road bike i.e. mounted on a handlebar...if so what a design fail. I can change the orientation of the bike computer , but not the light.

Has anyone been able to get it to mount on a TT bike?

Does the insert come out of the mount to rotate 90 degrees? Some similar mounts do.
It uses a GoPro mount I think.
You can find any variety of mounts for that.
Simplest might be a simple extension piece. Moves the light about an inch lower, but ends up turning 90 degrees.

thanks for the response. It does not swivel, major design flaw imo. I agree on the GoPro mount, let me see what I can find that may work.
