Not true. They've promised almost daily annihilation of the U.S. and have never carried it out regardless of food aid. There's been no aid from the U.S. in over 8 years.

basically, trump wrestled with a pig here. he 'won' on some superficial level - if, as we've said, claiming to have caused an inevitable outcome counts as 'winning' - in the same way that i might win by predicting the sun will rise tomorrow. i don't think he did much to project american force, though some may disagree, and he may have wrong-footed himself by creating a 'red line' that's already been crossed.

in short, if he won here he still came out covered in shit.
