Any peeps out there know about cycling and swimming in Billings? I might be going for a week in August. Anything worth seeing close? I have been all over the other areas (Bozeman/Glacier,etc)
Thanks

Rose Park is the city owned outdoor 50m pool. You can swim a masters program M-F, 0600-0730. Pool is open until late August. Otherwise you can swim at the YMCA but it's about $15 to drop in. Rocky Mountain College's pool should be re-opened by then. Limited lap swim times. Cost is $5 or $6. Lake Elmo State Park is located in eastern Billings. Entry is free if your car has Montana plates.

Cycling: The Spoke Shop is the long standing "pro" bike shop and offers some weekly rides. They can help you out with road & trail routes. Ride the Molt loop. Ride the South Hills loop. Be careful though as cyclists are moving targets here in Montana. Get to Red Lodge, 60 min south of city. Custer Battlefield is 75 min east of Billings.

Running: Yellowstone Rim Runners is the local RRCA group. Time Out Sports is the local running shop & source.
