So I heard there is a toxic algae bloom in Seneca Lake. Does anyone now how this might impact Musselman in a couple of weeks?

I'm racing this and would love to know as well.
I searched around but couldn't find a definitive answer on how long the algae blooms are present in the water or what their life-cycle is.

It was "fake news" the local park team is trained in identifying the blooms and test regularly. Several people posted on FB an article from last year about the blooms that happen every year (usually after the water temps are above wetsuit legal.)
