Are they even worth the time? Seems like a cheesy solution to me. I've been wanting to upgrade my desktop for a while now but I have it stuck in my head that I need a 1 TB C drive. "just because". Having a bit of trouble convincing myself a 250 or even 120gb SSD would be enough for the OS to live on and just run a standard 2 TB slave.

If you have room for two drives, go SSD+HDD.
SSHDs only make sense for like lightweight work laptops where you only get to have one drive.

If you can get point five past light speed and do the Kessel Run in less than twelve parsecs, I say it's fast enough for the old man.
