Have noticed in past that shimano shoes have odd sizeing...anybody that has experiences with the shoe how do they run?

I am 45.5 in Sidi Wire and 45.5 in the Shimano Sphere. Seems quite standard sizing to me.

the older shimano ran imo. s-phyre run true.

I asked somewhere else recently and it seemed that shimano sizing was comparable to specialized (length wise).
I'm 43.5 in shimano T60 but got 43 in s-phyre. Love this shoe...using it for road rides and will be my half and full shoe this year. Stiff and light, comfortable and not too warm.
