The famed 1997 "Phoenix Lights" that many believe were extraterrestrial in origin were first spotted by a civilian pilot whose names has remained unknown until this week.
Surprise! It's actor Kurt Russell, who's battled plenty of movie aliens in his day -- and portrayed one recently in "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 (Obviously). Seems he was flying his kid somewhere that evening when he spotted the V-shaped pattern of the lights and radioed it in. The rest is history. :
Was actor Kurt Russell the pilot who reported the Phoenix Lights?
This gentleman is a veritable one-man Illuminati. ;-)
