The number of people who equate the movement in the stock market to Trump's daily tweets or the latest news on one of his surrogates is hard to understand.

What do you think would have happened to the stock market if Comey or sessions said "I have copies of emails of trump colluding with Russia" or "I have copies of the video of trump getting peed on by a Russian prostitute?" Or something slightly less damaging, but still possibly leading to his ouster.

None of that was said, therefore the stock markets did not tank.
