what is funny about this is that the waivers are not "retroactive." So a waiver to allow bannon to "continue" advising breitbart begs the question, was he advising yesterday (which would be an ethical violation)?

Trump's predecessors also issued ethics waivers to appointees who had potential conflicts of interest. The Obama administration handed out at least 66 such exemptions to appointees across the federal government — including senior figures such as White House adviser Valerie Jarrett — and regularly posted the ethics waivers online.


So you agree with both Trump and Obama?

No. His point is Trump's promise to drain the swamp is ringing hollow. He's the same as all the others.
