Saw him at the Avila Beach Blues Festival a couple years ago. Went through his set like he had a plane to catch. No song intro, no interaction whatsoever. Strange.

He was a fine musician and the band, well, they awesome in their time. The stories of how bands like the Allman Brothers got started make for good summertime reading.
