Dropped my chain this afternoon and it caught on a metal plate attached to the frame behind the chainring where the chainstay meets the bottom bracket, the chain bent the top edge of said metal plate and now, with the chain removed the plate catches on the chainring bolts as they go by.

I could use some help figuring out what to do.
I assume this plate is there to protect the carbon frame from just such an indecent?
I see no means of removing this plate from the frame, it appears to be glued in place or something so how would I go about removing it?
I dont want to just bend it back cause then if my chain falls again in my race this weekend I am totally SOL

any help would be awesome

Nevermind, turns out it was an adhesive backed metal sticker, I guess I'll take the weight savings for meow
