Hi Nicole, The gels we put in from High 5 are 66g gels the biggest on the market. We know many companies say you can fit 4-5 gels into their storage systems but don't say what size gels.
In relation to wider Gels I think the following from someone who is doing the brutal Norseman triathlon (https://nxtri.com) is using a more square gel and from the looks of it its a new record for how many gels you can fit into a FoodCell ;-)
Here is a video from his Instagram (@intotheepic) feed:

Length no problem as about 180-190mm, internal depth about 45mm about 5mm more towards front end but I would use the 45mm, internal width about 35mm.
So depends on how or if you care how it’s placed in but it would fit if it was turned in it’s side!
I can give you exact specks tomorrow if needed but the above are pretty close!

Pleas note the design is for holding food and gels there are no other openings other then the slider at the top.

Any plans to have a little vertical slit/hole on the leading edge side? I run my Di2 battery indicator thing out the back of my stem and right into the Delta 200 that butts up against it (after I cut a little slit in the soft material on the leading edge to make way for it). If not, is it possible to jimmy rig a little hole with maybe a drill or something? Would the plastic crack etc.

Hi,
To be honest I don’t know its not something the product was designed for!

I think you missed an opportunity there and might want to consider this for another version. With electronic shifting being so prevalent, storage of di2 or blip box is an eve-growing need. Food can always be moved to a Jersey; blip box can’t.

Di2 mods seem to be happening...

Di2 mods seem to be happening...Very timely post. Couldn't remember the name of this bento and was planning on getting one to mod to hold my blip box.
When are you planning to release the Di2 version? Will it hold a blip box?
