Power Meter Accuracy Study
Does anyone have access to the power meter accuracy study referenced in this Cycling Weekly article? http://www.cyclingweekly.com/...-power-meters-330322

Direct link to study https://www.thieme-connect.de/...0.1055/s-0043-102945

I'm quite skeptical of manufacturer claims and it would be interesting to see what a 3rd party says.

I used to have one of these in my lab. http://www.vacumed.com/...id=27&prodid=323
It is perfect for testing the accuracy of bottom bracket or hub mounted meters. I did not use it for that purpose though. Anybody want to spend $15K and run the test?

The methodology used in the study will work for any direct force power meter (hubs, chainrings, cranks, BB, pedals etc) and provide an assessment of sch meters relative to a an absolute standard benchmark based on physics principles, however it is limited to assessing the accuracy and precision of meters only during steady state aerobic power level riding which, while modestly interesting, is a low bar to meet.
