Which 70.3 is Sarah entered in? Is she transitioning out of Olympic distance?

Now she wins Augusta. I must say I am excited/hopeful to see her develop into long distance. Perhaps she can be one to dethrone Ryf in a few years?

I got to say hi to her and Ben in Chattanooga last month; that was pretty cool.

If she is as meticulous with her bike setup as Ryf, then yes. Ryf is a strong swimmer and runner but she's winning her races on the bike. Surely her competitors have to have noticed this by now.

Yes if she decides to race the full distance, i think she once said she wasn't sure. Others that have a chance to dethrone Ryf include Lucy Charles and Nicola Sprig if she decides to race Kona vs 2020 Tokyo

I was watching Nicola this weekend and thought her swimming would be an issue in Kona but then again... She just had her second baby 4 months ago so maybe just some rust. I'd like to see her step up, I don't know if Olympics at 38 would be the best decision but she is quite the bad ass.

Hope Sarah does step up, I think she also said earlier this year she wasn't sure about stepping up to halves so that could change as well. We need another good female American in Kona along with Heather. Actually, we need good Americans altogether!

Bumping this thread because Sarah is on the entry list for IM Frankfurt. I know she hasn't been amazing at the 70.3 distance but she has been strong and fairly consistent. I am holding out hope that she just performs better long but given this would be the debut, I don't hold out big hopes for any kind of upset on Ryf but can at least hope for a podium or top 5 which would be quite good for a debut IM at this level.

You may have missed it, Sarah was 4th at 70.3 worlds. In her first year racing long course. I'd say she's crushing it at that distance.
I would imagine she'll be ready to race Frankfort/Any IM with anyone except Ryf.

Didn't miss it, 4th was really strong there. Not amazing, just strong.
