Conviction for protesting. Wow!

So during Jeff Sessions swearing a lady laughed and caused a minor ruckus while being kicked out. Annoying, yeah. Should've been kicked out, sure I guess. The story to me though is she has been convicted of this and faces jail time. Jail time for being annoying. WOW! The government is full of cowards and this seems to be highly unconstitutional. And my parents wonder why I am so unpatriotic.

Side note. I am using a Chromebook and I can't get the system to do a proper link.

Look at it this way... if it had been a Jeb Bush swearing in, then he would have begged the crowd for that kind of response.

Snopes debunks themselves on this. Their title "Woman Prosecuted for Laughing During Jeff Sessions Confirmation Hearing?" and their answer. TRUE when in fact it's not according to their own article.

Fairooz was found guilty on both counts, the New York Times reported, although jurors who spoke anonymously to Huffington Post said it was her behavior when asked to leave, not her laughter, that resulted in the conviction. She faces up to a year in prison.

If she does end up getting any time I think it it would be because of her history not this one incident alone. "She was previously jailed for disorderly conduct and assaulting a police officer in October 2007"

I am not understanding why she was arrested in the first place. Kick her out and don't let her back in. If annoying politicians is a crime they we should be angry that the founding fathers did behave and work through the system like good boys.

I'm guessing she wouldn't allow herself to be escorted out or leave peacefully.....

Watch the video. She went limp and held up a sign will yelling something. No one was in danger and no property was damaged. This kind of annoying theater is why we have the first adamant.
