Omaha, NE - Riding - routes or groups?
I'm going to be in Omaha next month for a baseball tournament (June 14-18). Thinking of bringing my road bike - can anyone recommend any good routes to ride or groups to hook up with.

I'll be staying at the Marriott - on Regency Circle.

Many thanks.

Try reaching out to TNT - they are the largest tri club in the area and are based out of Omaha. If they don't have something going on, they will know who does or can provide routes. http://teamnebraska.org/

What time of day? Most of that date range is weekday.

Are you looking to leave from Regency on your bike or pack it up and drive 15 minutes?

It's pretty easy head north from that location to get out of town by bike using the papio or keystone trails. Most of those roads are one lane with no shoulder. I wouldn't ride them during AM or PM rush.

Heading east you can cross over into Iowa for some decent riding as well.

In SW part of town you head to Springfield / Louisville / Gretna / Ashland. Most highways have shoulders and typically low traffic.
