Wetsuit for a Full-Distance Newbie
I'm doing my first full-distance triathlon in July in the Northeast US. I have never worn a swimming wetsuit, let alone own one. I'm looking to buy one. How do I choose the right wetsuit? What factors should I be looking at? Can I do it online or do I have to find a local retailer and try it on in person? I'm assuming that it will be cool enough for a full-length wetsuit. I am finding a range of wetsuits on Amazon, and I like the fact that they provide free size exchanges.

Thanks in advance!

I'll make it pretty simple for you: buy one of the Roka Maverick wetsuits. IMO, as someone who's also owned Xterra, Orca, and Blueseventy wetsuits, you're very hard pressed to be Roka. Use their size guide, order a suit, try it on and swim with it... if it works great. If it doesn't exchange it for another size. A properly fit wetsuit will feel pretty snug when worn dry. Once you're in the water the suit will become more pliable.
