Um, no. The freshest fish I've ever tasted are those that I've caught myself, and that's a lot. Next best were those caught fresh out of the Puget Sound at markets when I was living there for many years. You can't convince me that frozen is the same, because it isn't. I acknowledged in my earlier post that I know all of the seafood that I eat now is previously frozen.
Clams, oysters, scallops, crab, lobster, salmon, cod, halibut, sole, walleye all definitely taste like shit after they've been frozen. I've eaten all of those fresh & factory packaged. I may not know what process is involved, but fish after it's been froze definitely tastes different.
