If you are removing and replacing the plastic cups that come on the P3, just beat them out with a big screwdriver and throw them away.
Also, my Park Tool BBT-30 came with the drifts to press in the BB30 or PF30 bearings. All you need a large bolt or a piece of threaded rod and two nuts. (or the tool Clutch Cargo posted) Personally I use the Universal Bottom Bracket Press from Wheels Manufacturing

I wonder why they changed over to press-fit? I really like the screw-on Hollowtech or FSA bottom brackets for ease of use. (Although you still do need that special wrench to loosen it)

I have a newer cervelo p3 with an fsa bright pf30 bb. When replacing the crank I noticed one of the bearings are rough when I turn it. Info online is pretty conflicting on replacement. Some say to replace the bearings and leave the cups. Others say the bearings shouldn't even be removed from the cups. I have decided to replace the cups and all but am not sure how to remove the entire cup and not just the bearings. Has anyone done this? Any advice on how to do it? Such as the exact tool for removal and any problems you came across doing it? Thanks!I'd recommend using a headset removal tool over the Park BBT30 for removal. The headset tool will work for a variety of different inner spindle sleeves options while the BBT30 may not always fit.
For replacement the $35 Wheels Manufacturing universal bottom bracket tool is a great option when it is in stock.

1+ just check the headset removal tool for not having sharp edges at the spreading arms ..

SummitAK, can you suggest a specific headset removal tool that will work? The Park RT1 tool listed above by gooboyr works great.
To use it, push handle in on the side if the cup to be removed. Pull into place very slowly as the end is about to make it through the bearing race. Once it snaps open put your finger through the bearing and be sure the removal tool prongs have snapped up tight all around the inside of the cup. Now tap out cup with a mallet. If your BB was loctited in place it may take more effort. I usually stand with frame braced across my thighs rather than rely on bike stand to hold the frame steady.
The Park tool BB remover is identical to the smallest headset remover apart from the legs being splayed out a bit more on the BB one.
If you use the headset remover, it can press on the bearing shields and press just the inner race and balls out and leave the outer race stuck in there.
It's best to tweak the legs out a bit to mimic the proper BB one.
Which isn't a great loss as there are not many 1 inch headsets around anymore.
