Apparently a federal air marshal left her loaded gun in the bathroom on a plane. A former air marshall says she wasn't "given the tools to succeed." What? http://www.cnn.com/...-bathroom/index.html

There was a time in the 1970's or maybe early 80's when a group of terrorists high jacked an airline in the middle east and were holding the passengers as ransom. One of the passengers had to do a number two really bad and after some begging his captives allowed him to go to the toilet. He's sitting on the john and then realizes that one of them had left a gun on the back of the toilet. He finished his business and then told the bad guys there was a gun in the john. Once it was over he told the story to the press something like "I didn't want to be a hero, I just wanted to have a crap."

835 million to run the program and they only cover 1 percent of flights and they say they are understaffed and overworked.
