Questions/Doubts on Pelvic Rotation one Road Bike
Quote | Reply
Hi Guys,
I made an account on this forum, because i have some doubts on pelvic rotation on the road bike.
First thing, sorry for my english ;)
FYI, i am not a Time Trialist, but i found this topic here on the forum written by the user Big:
http://forum.slowtwitch.com/...vis_Rotate_P4046385/

My questions on the pelvic rotation are the following:

-Big suggests to rotate the pelvis forward, means pushing your hips/butt back… so this means, it ist he same position as an anterior pelvic tilt, right?

-I have a slight anterior pelvic tilt (lordosis?) off the bike, should I anyway try to tilt my pelvis forward on the road bike? In my oppinion I am pretty flexible, I can nearly touch the ground with the palms of my hand and my weight at moment is about 63 kg with 175 cm height

-yesterday I tried the suggested forward pelvic tilt, the feeling was good… but i have to get used to this position… The feeling was that I had more reach on the bike and that my stem (100mm) could be longer… But I also felt more numbness in my hands/fingers…

-are glutes used more with forward rotated pelvis?

-Would a slightly tilted up saddle nose facilitate the rotation of the pelvis?

Thanks for your help guys!
