Going to be in PS next Tues - Thurs. Anyone around that wants to ride? Looking for some company to do some longish (50 - 100mi) rides at a decent pace. Let me know.

Be sure you ride Box Canyon, one of my favorite rides there. Joshua Tree Park is a fun one too. Riding to and up the tram road is another fun ride. Borego Palomar is a great ride if you have time to drive to a ride.

Sweet!!I'm here in the Coachella valley. I'm a definite maybe for a ride. On Facebook, check out the only tri club around. You can definitely connect with a variety of athletes who know and are down for all levels of ride at the Salton Sea Triathlon Club.

Depending on your ability level, there are virtually roadie rides every day of the week in the valley. I used to do a nice Sunday ride that started in the La Quinta area, pretty casual for a few miles, then drop city for the weak and undertrained. They regroup half way through for coffee in Palm Springs, then back at it after a few easy miles again. Smallish group of about 12 to 18 or so, and people drop off near their homes along the way, so ok with a triathlon bike if you are comfortable in small groups...
