CDA?

I was trying out a few position changes last night. It was an out and back on a slightly rolling course with slight tail wind then head wind.
I'm 160lbs. SS latex front tire/training tire butyl rear.
Out with tail wind 27.6 mph 270 watts
back with head wind 26.8 mph 268 watts

Would this equate to a cda around .220?

why not download goldencheetah and plug that file into aerolab?

Search this forum for the "platypus" (search that word) thread where there is a ton of info.

Golden cheetah has been acting funky on my computer lately. I have read the platypus thread since its inception. I tried some chung testing a few days ago but there was a lot more wind than I thought. Test was no good. Thanks for the reply.

Yeah, a lot of variables. Just wondering if my WAG is getting close to reality;)

hmm :/ it's tough to guess off just some numbers/speed, I agree with Grill in that case.

have you tried Ron Ruff's spreadsheet? You can plug in some wind measurements.

There are ways to include windspeed if you have it.

There are ways to solve if you can assume the windspeed is the same on the outbound and inbound legs.

But the additional calculations can be a hassle if you're unfamiliar with them. In that case, wait for a calmer day and do more, shorter, laps.
