Americans, this is called 5 pin bowling. Canada has smaller balls. Wait... what?

How does Danny Hart sit down with balls that big?

If he had gotten a strike I could have gone revolutionary, but as the results are the same as when i bowl, I would just call that different.

Also how can kids abuse their knees like that, makes mine hurt just watching.

We have candlepin here in Boston/northeast. No one outside of here knows what it is, and after they play it they say "why the fuck is this popular?" Big balls all day every day.

Your son missed every single pin, those 'nice one' comments will make him a butter-soft snowflake.

Do they have bumper pads for kids bowling in the States?

You'll notice that my son strategically used the bumper to take out the left pin. GENIUS!!!

We used to have duckpin bowling here in Maryland when I was kid. Havent seen any local lanes recently but supposedly there are some up towards Baltimore.

Candlepin is weak in principle, but it's good for when you've got small kids because it's easier for them to participate. And some alleys have speedometers to clock how fast the ball is going, so the grown ups can compete to see who can whip the ball down the lane the fastest.
