While Pepsis ad was piss poor, I read something today that called it 'self important' and compared it to unfavourably to the Coke ad from the 80s 'I'd like to buy the world a coke'.
Really that's the one you are comparing it to? And you say Pepsi's ad smacks of self importance? Coke suggested that the world could live in harmony if we all just drank coke together. Not self important at all...
