Opening Day
MLB season kicked off yesterday with three games, full slate today. Two walkoff wins yesterday, and Madison Bumgarner leading the majors in HRs so far with two dingers yesterday. First time in MLB history that a pitcher has gone deep twice on Opening Day.

How do you feel about your team this year?

Jays have possibly the best rotation in baseball. I feel good. Now can they stay healthy two years in a row? I have my doubts there.

There's still an important basketball game to watch.

Go Heels!

Pink? Maybe. Maybe not. You decide.

I love the start of baseball, it's been a cold early spring here in Boston but it just feels more like spring with baseball starting back up.

Sox should be fantastic this year, though a lot hinges on their injuries and bullpen. David Price, Carson Smith, ERod, Pomeranz, Thornburg, there's just a lot of uncertainty in this pitching staff and they've started off on the wrong foot. BUT, the lineup should be fantastic with great defense, I'm excited to see this outfield in action too.

Indians look legit, Astros, Rangers, maybe a fwe others and the AL East is always a competitive dogfight but I like the Sox chances to at least make the postseason this year.

The Cubs have the 2015 Cy Young winner as their #3 best pitcher. What do the Jays boast that could possibly top that?

The 5th guy in our rotation had the best ERA in the American League last year.

My team is in full rebuild mode. The good news is some of the prospects are on track to hit this year and more next. The bad news is a .500 season would be a fantastic finish.

I'm beginning to think that we are much more fucked than I thought.

Yeah, don't give me ERA comparisons AL to NL. Sanchez doesn't get a free out once through the order.

Good work, it's your third. You finally pulled out of the tie with the Blue Jays!

My Cardinals played well last night. Martinez was lights out... but Oh almost blew it (and still gets credit for the win).

I'm excited for the season! Love baseball! As far as how I feel about my team? The Cubs are loaded with young talent and they know they can win it all. While I love my Cardinals, I'm not an idiot. I do think the Cards are the only real threat in the NLCS and if the Cubs trip up it's at their own peril. The Cards are used to winning and are playing with a chip on their shoulder. It's really fun to watch these Cards/Cubs games and it's great for baseball!

After one game: I think the Cardinals will get a wildcard and we'll see from there. But, as always, it's up to injuries. Cards already lost Reyes before the season even started - every team has their injury stories.

The last game I attended was last year's game 5 vs. Dodgers. It didn't end well for us.

Back today to kick off the season, in the same nosebleed sections but with a different result. Of note, Harper continued his Opening Day home run streak, launching one every opening day since he entered the league in 2012.

Great day for baseball ! That is an amazing streak of opening day homers. Let's see how many he hits after June this year....

Happily my O's came out on top as well.
