'Comes with Baggage' short video

A truly outstanding short vid about why people ride bikes, and a little unknown history too.

Our whole crew and family loved it.

You might like it, it is really well done ...
About 15 min. long.
(fyi, not an april 1 joke)

If you don't yet have time, here is a 1 min trailer of the short video:

It might be a good film but the narrators voice is irritating. I turned it off after a few mins.

If it helps, the narrator pretty much ends after 3 min and, after that, it just gets better and better ... it has bits from the Adventure Cycling Association, Robert Egger of Specialized, Bruce Gordon, and many others.

Here is 1 min. trailer to give you better taste of what it is all about ...

Glad you liked it, it was also a great way to help kids to start to understand the joys (and the craziness) of riding bikes !

How do I even begin getting into bike touring? I have good fitness from triathlon, but something about going cross country with a bike seems like absolute madness and a perfect way to live my life.

With the interwebs, there is tons and tons of info just a click away.

But a good start, I think, are the 'how to' pages on the Aventure Cycling Association site:

Thanks for the reminder why I ride bikes...too much head down and grinding for Tri..... need a break.

Will plan a trip. Anybody knows if HWY1 at Big Sur is passable by bike?
