road bike size??
Looking to buy my first dedicated road bike. I have always been on a 56 trip bike as I like an agressive position. My thoughts on a rod bike at first were to get a 58, but now my thoughts have shifted back to a 56 with a longer stem.

afraid ill feel to stretched out on the 58

Thoughts?

BTW I am 6'1 with a 34" inseam and looking to buy the fuji transonic

Anne's given you good advice. I had a FIST fit today, and from that you'll get numbers that will help inform which bikes (not just what size) will work best for you. Of course, it's easy to swap stems, spacers, crank length, etc so each bike has flexibility. I know my 3 bikes are different sizes, from 45 to 48... they're all fine fit-wise. It's more a matter of determining if a size in a certain brand can be adjusted to your ideal measurements.
